Meet Our Pastor Originally from Woodbury, NJ, Buz came to Lynchburg, VA to attend Lynchburg Baptist College (Liberty University) and graduated in 1976 with a Youth Ministries major and a Greek minor. He received his license to preach through Thomas Road Baptist Church and remained on staff there after graduating LU in Youth Ministry and Outreach teams. Vida Parker
Meet Our Secretary and IT Tech Vida Parker has been secretary for 7 years, and was secretary previously from 2006 to 2010. Being secretary requires many tasks. She also manages the technical aspects for the church, such as recording sermons, and managing our website. Vida also sings with the Praise Team. She wears lots of hats!

Bill Parker
Bill Parker Chairman of the Elders, Bill has been a member since 1991. He also manages the audio/visual for worship services. Being a former road musician, Bill brings his talents to the church and sings with the Praise Team. Favorite Bible Verse Galatians 1:10 NLT “Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.”

David Graves David was a deacon for many years, then became an elder. He is also church treasurer, singer, and choir director. Favorite Bible Verse Matthew 6:33 NIV “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

Gary Williams
Gary Williams Gary is our resident, certified electrician. He also assists in running the sound board during worship services. He has been and elder for the church for four years. He also teaches an adult Family Bible Hour class.
